Volunteer network

Through the #WeRideTogether campaign, Cycling Projects looking to create a network of volunteers, find out how you can help below.

Volunteer with us
Cycling Projects relies on a vast volunteer network in order to deliver inclusive cycling around the UK.

With the help of the #WeRideTogether campaign, we’re looking to expand our offering to areas of the UK where we currently do not have a presence.

About our volunteers
Currently, we have a real mix of volunteers within our network with the charity having:

  • 89 Female Cycling Projects Volunteers
  • 148 Male Cycling Projects Volunteers

When it comes to the Wheels for All initiative those numbers look like this:

  • 76 Female WFA Volunteers
  • 98 Male WFA Volunteers

We currently only have three volunteer led centres, with all of our other 50+ centres having sessional staff support our volunteers in the delivery of sessions.

What volunteer roles are you looking for?
Currently, Cycling Projects are looking for volunteers to help the #WeRideTogether campaign in the following roles:

  • Wheels for All volunteers
  • Bike buddy ride leaders
  • Bike mechanics
  • Admin assistants
