Stoke Wheels for All
Stoke WFA is based at Westport Lake which is a nature reserve on the north side of the Poterries. Its delivered through the Green Door programme which aims to get more people out into their communities. It is a beautiful venue with trails that follow the outskirts of the lakes. There is a lovely café giving you great views of Westport Lake. Several existing cycle trails are nearby including the canal route and the National Cycle Network.
We have a wide range of standard and accessible cycles for hire. We think we have a bike suitable for most adults irrespective of ability level. We also have a limited number of bikes suitable for older children. We will do our best to accommodate younger cyclists – if your feet touch the ground – you can cycle!
There is a small charge for this service to cover costs. Booking is advisable due to the popularity of some of our cycles!
Charges
Annual membership £7.50 then £3.50 per hour, a carer assisting a disabled person is not charged.
£6.00 per hour for non-members
Please note: on bad weather days – high winds, snow and icy days – please ring us on 07824 473 432 to check we are open for cycling.
