Gloucestershire Wheels For All
We welcome Gloucestershire Wheels for All to the national Wheels for All network. We are really pleased to announce that after some very hard work from a number of partners, most noticeably Leonard Cheshire there is a now regular presence of inclusive cycling activities in Gloucester at Blackbridge Athletics Track.
A special mention and thanks has to be made to the Peoples Post Code Lottery who have supported the development of Gloucester Wheels for All by enabling the purchase of cycles, the delivery of training and regular session support.
Sessions are available Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Bike hire £5 per hour inclusive of helmet and track fee
Wheels for All support will be given but not 1 to 1 so we will be encouraging parents / staff / carers are required to get actively involved with the sessions.
For ages 8 upwards, and for individuals with reduced or little mobility, We are able to support wheelchair users in manual chairs, and those recovering from illness or injury. There is also opportunities for those lacking confidence or with physical, mental, learning or sensory disabilities.
We have trikes, tandem trikes and companion trikes, hand cycles and companion hand cycles, a quad bike and side-by-side bike and wheelchair cycles and wheelchair transporters
