We are recruiting for a Wheels for All Co-ordinator to deliver and develop a well-received inclusive cycling offer for the Kendal region and the South Lakes District Council.
Initially a 1-year position
From Sept 2021 to August2022
10 hours per week £10.15 an hour
Supporting the delivery of Wheels for All activities in the Kendal region


Building on an already well received Wheels for All hub in Kendal we require an individual who is able to co-ordinate the weekday and weekend sessions, support the participants and volunteers and identify new opportunities for the Wheels for All programme.

As the Wheels for All co-ordinator you will be responsible for the delivery of the inclusive cycling sessions, managing a growing network of partners and recruiting and retaining volunteers to support the programme across Kendal and the South Lakes region.

You will be supported by colleagues across the Cumbria, and regional and national colleagues, who will be able to give you guidance and knowledge on inclusive cycling engagement, developing the inclusive cycling hub and identifying future funding opportunities.

You will be a highly motivated individual with experience of working across a broad section of partners. You will ideally have experience of managing community projects and have experience of working with people of all abilities/or previously worked for a charity. You will be enthusiastic, driven, well organised and able to embrace cycling as a credible and effective inclusive cycling sessions on a regular basis across the Kendal region.
