Hundreds Gearing Up For Knowsley’s Great Pedal Away 2018

Sign up to take part in our fourth mass participation cycle ride around the wonderful, scenic routes of Knowsley this September.

Sunday 9thSeptember sees the Knowsley’s Great Pedal Away! take place, starting and finishing at the Velodrome at Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park, Huyton. Riders will be setting off between 9am-10am to complete the 40 mile challenge route, which tours Knowsley’s quiet lanes and new cycle paths.

Our route will be an exciting challenge for anyone wanting to test their ability and explore new places with new people.

Entry costs just £10 per person with All proceeds going towards buying new disability cycling equipment for Wheel for All sessions run by Cycling Projects. Teams of five can enter for only £40.

Refreshments are provided along the route. Both routes will be clearly signposted and marshalled, and every participant will receive a route card giving turn by turn directions.

Free bike checks will be available before and after the ride from Barry’s Bicycle Maintenance.
