An exciting opportunity to become the Liverpool City Region inclusive cycling co‑ordinator

This exciting role will focus on supporting the exiting inclusive cycling programmes across the Liverpool City Region, and through excellent partnership work expand the other enabling more people of all abilities to cycle. Working alongside partners from Merseytravel, all six local authorities, public health, disability services and the existing inclusive cycling network across Liverpool City Region. We will create and deliver a regular inclusive cycling offer for children, adults and the elderly recovering from ill health, those living with a disability and creating a support programme for their families and friends.

Our aim is to give everyone regardless of ability the chance to cycle, giving guidance and training to their support networks so that they too can be involved in delivery, and enjoy the benefits of cycling.
As the post holder, you will be responsible for the development of an effective inclusive cycling offer, working in close partnership with a broad range of partners and support networks, that becomes an asset for the communities of the Liverpool City Region.
You will be responsible for overseeing the current delivery of the inclusive cycling sessions, managing a growing network of partners and recruiting and retaining volunteers to support the project across the Liverpool City Region. You will be a highly motivated individual with experience of working across a broad section of partners. You will ideally have experience of managing community projects, working with disabled and inactive people. We require someone who is able to make a difference to people’s lives through inclusive cycling activities.
