Cycling Projects is pleased to announce the development of a South Lakes region Wheels for All initiative that will bring cycling to many people regardless of their ability.
We are recruiting a Wheels for All Co-ordinator to deliver and develop a well-received inclusive cycling offer for the South Lakes region, creating regular inclusive cycling opportunities from UIlverston through to Kendal. There will also be opportunities to deliver inclusive cycling activities within the Lake District National Park
As the Wheels for All co-ordinator you will be responsible for the delivery of the inclusive cycling sessions, managing a growing network of partners and recruiting and retaining volunteers to support the programme across the South Lakes region.
You will be a highly motivated individual with experience of working across a broad section of partners. You will ideally have experience of managing community projects and have experience of working with people of all abilities/or previously worked for a charity. You will be enthusiastic, driven, well organised and able to embrace cycling as a credible and beneficial activity for people regardless of their ability. We want you to create a solid movement of inclusive cycling activities across specific regions of the South Lakes and be part of an effective and exciting movement of creating inclusive cycling opportunities
