Wheels for All Kendal and South Lakes co-ordinator Ian Johnson, along with his friend Tim Norton, is raising money for Cycling Projects with a 6 day cycle ride through the ‘Grandes Alpes’ from Geneva to Nice.
‘Jonno and Tim’ start their journey on 2 July and the route covers over 700 km, passing over some of the highest roads in Europe including 17 mountain passes. You can support their epic journey by donating on Ian’s JustGiving page.
Fundraising For Birmingham Wheels for All!
We would like to give our thanks to Philip and Loraine, members of Joyful Bellas and Fellasgroup at Edgbaston, for helping with fundraising for Birmingham Wheels for All, by doing the Bike Active ‘Sofa to 50k’ challenge.
The challenge has been made into a sponsored event, to help create additional resources, such as adapted cycles, for the Birmingham Wheels for All centre and currently have a set target of £2000.
