Recently Wheels for All worked in partnership with the Wiltshire Sports engagement team to bring inclusive cycling to children, adults and the elderly. Wheels for All was welcomed by Salisbury communities and the day was a complete success with many children trying out cycling for the first time with some great feedback ” We want to come back again” and “I’ve had an amazing time”.
A big thank you goes out to Exeter House Special School and Manor Fields primary School and also The Meadows Day Centre who all got involved in the Wheels for All event and left with big smiles on their faces!!
The aim is to make Salisbury Five Rivers Leisure Centre a Wheels for All centre offering cycling for all abilities on a regular basis. The will begin with a season of Wheels for All activities from April 2017.
We realise Wiltshire has been represented in term s of a complete cycling offer and so it is great to have the support and dedication of the disability sports team to make this happen for South Wiltshire
