We have a very exciting opportunity for a North Wales Wheels for All co-ordinator.
This role will support the development and delivery of Wheels for All activities across the regions of Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy and potentially Gwynedd. It is a 3 year position that will work closely with a range of partners to establish regular cycling opportunities for people of all abilities including children, adults and the elderly.
We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic and passionate about giving people the chance to cycle regardless of their ability or experience. We are looking for someone to help breakdown barriers and help make the opportunities to be active easy to access.
Ideally you have experience in community engagement working across a mix of sectors including leisure, sports, adults and children and transport services.
The project will focus on creating ideal settings across a number of regions of North Wales whereby people will be able to access cycling on a regular basis for future years.
Each Wheels for All centre will be supported by a wide range of adapted cycles including tricycles, quad cycles, hand cycles and wheelchair transporters. All centres will offer training opportunities for partner organisations and project volunteers giving people the opportunity to get actively involved the delivery of each session.
The aim of the project is to create a regular cycling programme that is open for children, adults and the elderly , which ultimately gives people choice and options when they can access cycling in their areas

We are currently recruiting for a Wirral cycling and walking Activator. This role will actively support people people who have recently found employment or who are seeking employment by promoting the ways of commute through Active Travel.
The projects will be promote the benefits of walking and cycling to and from the work place and highlight how local community members can cycle and walk at ease to the place of work.
This is initially a 12 month project in partnership with Wirral Council and Merseytravel.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person, who is able to positively engage with all members of the community and also to meet with partners to help develop and deliver a successful project for all involved.
