A big thank you goes out to Exeter House Special School and Manor Fields primary School and also The Meadows Day Centre who all got involved in the Wheels for All event and left with big smiles on their faces!!

We are really looking forward to a very busy day at the Five Rivers Leisure Centre on Monday 21st November whereby we will be bringing Wheels for All activities to children, adults and the elderly.
The Try Out event is being delivered in partnership with Wiltshire County Council through the Disability Sports development team at the council.
The aim is to gather momentum and ongoing interest for the creation of a permanent Wheels for All offer for all abilities across South Wiltshire and beyond.
We are aware that here is currently very little provision for inclusive cycling across the county of Wiltshire and the aim of this partnership is to create a regular Wheels for All programme for the communuties of South Wilthsire in Salisbury accessible for everyone regardless of their ability.

Through our Pedal Away initiative we have recently delivered another exceptional Great Pedal Away Challenge which offers rider a chance to take on the challenge of either a 10 mile or a 40 mile tour of the borough of Knowsley.
Over 140 riders took part in the challenge event which showcases the cycle trails, greenways and countryside in and around Knowsley.
We had exceptional weather on the day making it ideal for the cycle challenge.
Every person that entered the event raised funds for the charity Cycling Projects and with the added incentive of those rasing over a £100 receiving a limited edition Cycling Projects cycle jersey!
All proceeds will go towards increasing the fleet of adapted cycles at our Wheels for All centres in Halewood.
A huge thank you goes out to all the riders who completed the events – your support is very much appreciated and of course we really want to thank all the volunteers and partners who made this event such a success – it really couldn’t have happened without you!!
The plans for The Great Pedal Away Challenge event 2017 are for bigger and better things perhaps stretching into neighboring boroughs….so watch this space for further updates..
